Pamela B. Davis

Improving the quality of a child’s life, one child at a time, has been the philosophic outlook of Pam Davis for the past 30 years. This viewpoint has been applied in the numerous local and state positions she has held in our community since 1980 as a DCF Program Specialist and contract manager; child care licensing supervisor; state administrator and bureau chief for DCF; and for the past 16 years, President and CEO of Kids Incorporated of the Big Bend.

Ms. Davis’ commitment toward development, implementation and improvement of high quality early learning programs is practiced on a daily basis through her direct operations of operator of five Early Head Start sites, four of which are nationally accredited, and the on-site Eagles’ Nest operations for TCC students. She is well known throughout the state and locally for her leadership role in children’s advocacy, with her most recent planning role with the first legislatively-sponsored Children’s Summit in Orlando this fall.

Pam Davis is a graduate of Florida State University with both a B.S. and M.S. in Early Childhood Education.

Pam is one of the founding members of the United Partners for Human Services and has been on the Board for the past two years. She strongly believes in the collaborative and functional role UPHS plays in uniting human services and strengthening the visible and vital role human services plays in making Leon County a choice place for families to thrive and maintain a high quality of life.
