Haley Cutler
Haley is the Program Coordinator at United Partners for Human Services. Before joining the UPHS
team, Haley worked as the Community Education Coordinator at Refuge House, volunteered as a Community
Educator and Rape Crisis Advocate at Refuge House, was a mentor with the Female Voices Program and
served in a number of leadership positions in organizations for young people in the community.
Currently, Haley is a senior at Florida State University, finishing her degree in Sociology and Women’s
Studies. She is involved in several programs and projects that empower young people to promote social
change. Among these projects includes being the founding chair of an educational initiative through
Refuge House and other supporting community partners entitled Gender Blender. Gender Blender was an
educational retreat for young adults to get together to discuss issues related to gender and violence.
Haley’s current projects include working with other leaders at Florida State University to use the model
of Gender Blender as an educational tool for broader anti-discrimination, anti-oppression and community
empowerment work. She looks forward to earning her MPA from Florida State University and continuing a
career in the non-profit sector.
