Definition
Any agency or program that meets any one of the following will be considered to have met this criterion:
- Governmental / public organizations or distinct programs within a governmental/public
organization will be considered to have met this criterion.
- Faith-based organizations will be considered to have met this criterion.
- If the applicant is an agency or major program of a larger umbrella non-profit organization
(including governmental/public/charitable organizations), then the applicant is considered to
have met this criterion. In this case, the applicant agency or program would be considered the
UPHS member, but not the larger umbrella organization.
- Registration as a non-profit organization in the State of Florida meets this criterion.
- An applicant that has a 501c3 IRS status meets this criterion.
