Barbara Boone

Barbara is the Executive Director of Leadership Tallahassee, Inc., a program of the Greater Tallahasse Chamber of Commerce. She has coordinated staff, volunteers and community resources to implement Leadership Tallahssee community leadership development program for selected adults, Youth Leadership Tallahassee program for highschool juniors and Opportunity Tallahassee offered to the community at large.

As part of her duties as a Vice President with the Chamber, she oversees WorldClass Schools, Inc.

Prior to arriving in Tallahassee in August, 1999, she was employed by Leadership Jacksonville as Associate Director for 9 years and the Duval County School System as a social worker and diagnostician in the Exceptional Student Education department.

She has served as president of the Junior League of Jacksonville, Council for Exceptional Children and Episcopal Childrens Services.

Currently she is active on the board of the Friends of the Leon County Library and St. Peter's Anglican Church.
